How to Promote Calcium Absorption When Meat and Fish Can Steal Calcium

Health
High-protein diet is the cause of osteoporosis. Someone has done such an experiments (A: daily intake of 80 grams of protein will result in the loss of 37 mg of calcium; B: daily intake of 240 grams of protein and an additional supplement of 1400 mg of calcium will result in 137 mg of calcium loss.) Additional calcium supplement cannot prevent calcium loss caused by the high-protein. Excessive intake of meat and fish without paying attention to acid-base balance will result in huge loss of calcium.

How to eat can promote calcium absorption?

First, vitamin C promote calcium absorption: taking the high-calcium foods with vitamin C and pickle juice, or make navel orange, grapefruit, oranges, citrus, and lemon juice by yourself and drink, so that the bioavailability will enhance by 12%. Obviously, the participation of a large amount of vitamin C in these fruits makes the calcium better absorbed by the intestines.

Second, eat both meat and vegetables: You can improve the utilization of calcium. For example, as for fish stewed with tofu, fish contains rich vitamin D, while tofu is rich in calcium. Vitamin D can promote the absorption of calcium, tofu, calcium utilization is increased. In addition, the staple food should include both grain food and bean food, so that not only the amino acids complementary to the best, but also promote calcium absorption.

Third, calcium and magnesium “match the best”: when having calcium supplement, people often only pay attention to vitamin D supplement, but ignore the magnesium supplement. Calcium and magnesium are well “matched”. When the ratio of calcium and magnesium is 2:1, it is most conducive to calcium absorption and utilization. Therefore, when supplying calcium, remember do not forget magnesium supplement.

Foods containing more magnesium: nuts (such as almonds, cashews and peanuts); soybeans, seeds (sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds); cereals (especially rye, millet and barley); seafood (tuna, mackerel, shrimp, lobster).

Fourth, phosphorus and calcium are the “enemies”: the imbalance of calcium and phosphorus is the culprit leading to calcium deficiency of the body. Under normal circumstances, the body’s ratio of calcium and phosphorus is 2:1. However, in real life, too much intake of carbonated drinks, cola, coffee, hamburgers, pizza, wheat germ, liver, French fries and other large number of food containing phosphorus makes the ratio of calcium and phosphorus ratio up to 1:10 or 1:20. Thus, too much phosphorus in diet will “drive” the calcium out of the body.

A professional game player Tory gives you such suggestions: you could get Cheap WOW Gold, Cheap RuneScape gold and rs gold so easily if you follow his advice.
