When people get hit by badly aimed golf balls they tend to respond badly. Even if a ball comes close enough to almost hit a window or a child or a boat or a Siamese cat people complain. Sometimes they complain loudly and sometimes they sue and sometimes they organize campaigns had hold marches and vigils and generally make themselves unpleasant and sometimes even expensive. All this could be avoided by the installation of good quality gareolf netting. If you are the owner of, or on the board of directors of a country club where golf is played you probably know the importance of keeping golf balls on the club property. A well designed course can do that to a certain extent but sometimes netting is the answer. Recently a group of outraged citizens who lived next to a golf course sued because golf balls were flying into their yards. At the time no one had been seriously hurt and there had been no major property damage. People who weren’t part of the law suit tended to see it a s something of a joke. Why would they live next to a golf course if they don’t like golf balls people would ask each other. The homeowners, who for the most part did like golf balls, were concerned about the possibility of future damage to lives or property and not without reason.Golf Accessories What is important to notice about this situation is that form many years homeowners did not complain about stray golf balls and there were no golf balls in their yards to complain about. There had been a golf net in place that kept golf balls on the club property. At some point the net had gotten worn out and was failing to do its job. How about replacing the netting? Maybe this was really good netting and it had lasted for a hundred years. Or maybe not. Maybe it wasn’t very good quality netting and needed to be replaced by something better.Callaway Golf Maybe the netting had been adequate when the only people who played at the course were kind of old and feeble. But maybe some new young strong construction workers had joined the club and were suddenly hitting the net with much more force than it was designed to endure. The net had protected the houses from misguided golf ball before it could do it again. The solution was as obvious as the problem. Get a new net. Get good strong golf netting that can stand up to the abuse delivered by strong but klutzy golfers in all kinds of weather. Club members may whine about the cost but it’s not as expensive as being dragged into court when someone’s adorable grand child gets knocked off her tricycle.Legend Golf Net manufacturers make an amazing variety of nets for every imaginable purpose. Cargo nets are strong but the holes are big and would let golf balls through. Mosquito nets have nice small holes but they probably aren’t strong enough to stop golf balls. If you want to keep golf balls from being hit into the neighbors’ yards get golf netting. You and your neighbors will be glad you did.
