How To Enjoy Your Next Vacation

Advertising,Travel & Tourism
New York can be a bit mind-boggling when you visit for the fist time. So, if it's your fist time in the big city, there are a few must see places you should have on your list of things you can do in New York. First of all, you merely can't visit New York and never go up to the top of the Empire State Building. Regardless of whether you want to marvel at its world class Art Deco design or simply take in the most glorious look at the New York skyline, it's a must stop location.

A different place to get the must see view of the town is the "top of the rock" and Rockefeller Center. This observation outdoor patio on the top of the well-known center that residences The Today Show from NBC and America's most famous roller skating rink, provides a panoramic view of the city that can't be beat.

Any educational and cultural visit to the town should have some of the top museums in the world upon its things to do in New York City list. Take a nice lengthy gander at Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural work of art, The Guggenheim Museum. Enjoy it for its architectural wonder and then meander on inside to see the amazing modern and fashionable art that fills it.

Other museums to see while in New York City consist of MoMa or Museum of Modern Art where you'll see genuine works by classics such as Picasso, Matisse, Monet and Warhol. Another quintessential New York City museum to visit is the Met or the Metropolitan Museum of Art in which you will see artifacts from Africa, Central and Latin America, and an ancient Egyptian selection that's a must see on any things to do in New York City list.

When thinking about things you can do in New York, you should remember to relax with a walk through the famed Central Park. Covering over 800 acres, this playground is located in the heart of Manhattan. Whether you want quiet tranquility to walk or go for a run or want areas for the children to romp and be kids, there's something for everyone.

Who could say they'd "looked at" New York if they had not visited Time Square? Located at Broadway between 42nd and 47th streets, it's now pedestrian friendly as the center continues to be closed to cars. Come to see the ball fall on New Years Eve or to discover discounted Broadway theater tickets. Or just come to people watch, it's a sight to observe.

A symbol of freedom to all who arrive here as immigrants, The Statue of Liberty stands in the harbor and must be frequented and at the top of your Things to Do in New York agenda. Since 1886, she's been inviting individuals to her shores and all beginners to the city of New York should make their way to her side.

Located near Lady Liberty will be the Ellis Island Immigration Museum and American Family History Center. Track back your roots and find the forefathers who first set foot on United states soil and maybe left their old names behind in the old country.

While you are travelling you may want to experience some ny sightseeing. Some of the things to see in new york you may want to visit are the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building NY. Experience New York to the fullest by visiting the top attractions.
