It is only after you have completed this step should you begin to think about what sort of product you are going to create. After you have determined what type product you are going to create, work on a catchy memorable name. Do not skimp or rush through this process. Research possible names using searches. Disregard names that get little or no search traffic or names that are jammed with too much competition. After you have narrowed the name down to three or four choices, check the availability of domain names. Are they available for your top choices? This is vitally important. If none of your main choices re available, go back and do additional research to see if you can find other suitable choices. After you have completed all of the research above, you can begin working on your project. The research above could take several weeks. But by doing that necessary first, you can save yourself the heartache and pain of creating a product that sits in your computer collecting digital dust.
