What is Gastro Disease (Gastritis)?
Gastro can be called as Gastroenteritis. It is also known as gastric flu or stomach flu or Gastritis. In this case, some kind of irritation or inflammation occurs in the gastrointestinal tract, involving both the stomach and the small intestine. The result is acute diarrhea. It can occur by the contact of infected food and water. We can say, it is a situation that causes irritation and inflammation of the stomach and bowels.
Some medications are available for the Gastric treatment - - Generic Nexium (Esomeprazole)
- Generic Prevacid (Lansoprazole )
- Generic Protonix (Pantoprazole )
Symptoms Of Gastro / Gastritis
Symtomps of Gastro are as follows -
- Diarrhea.
- Crampy abdominal pain.
- Vomiting.
- Headache.
- Muscle pains.
- Dry and tough skin.
- No / little passing of urine.
- Irritability .
- Pale skin.
- Cough and bad breath.
Gastrointestinal Treatment
Following is the List of some Gastrointestinal Medication -
Generic Nexium - Nexium (esomeprazole) belongs to a proton pump inhibitor group. It is used to decrease the acid produced in the stomach.
- Esomeprazole is also used to prevent gastric ulcer which is generally caused by infection by using nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
- It is not preventing immediate relief of heartburn issue.
- Nexium is used to treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions involving excessive stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
- Esomeprazole is also used to treat the damage occurs by the stomach acid.
Generic Protonix - Generic Protonix (Pantoprazole) belongs to a proton pump inhibitor group. It is use to decrease the acid produced in the stomach.
- Pantoprazole is used to treat erosive esophagitis (damage to the esophagus from stomach acid), and other conditions involving excess stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
- Protonix is not for immediate relief of heartburn symptoms.
Generic Prevacid - Generic Prevacid (Lansoprazole ) belongs to a proton pump inhibitor group. It is used to decrease the acid produced in the stomach.
- Lansoprazole is used to treat and prevent stomach and intestinal ulcers, erosive esophagitis, and other conditions involving excessive stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
- Prevacid is not for immediate relief of heartburn symptoms.
- DOSAGE INFO: For initial treatment of duodenal ulcers the recommended dose for adults is 15 mg daily for 4 weeks.
Gastro Prevention
Following Steps Should be Taken to Prevent Gastro – - Avoid Alochol .
- Quit Smoking .
- Avoid Beverages containing Tea .
- Don’t Eat Food that bother your stomach .
