With a new season recently upon us, figuring out which season of the year would be best to schedule a wedding ceremony could not only save you some serious money on the essentials like cakes and wedding gowns, but it could also save you some major money on certain things like engagement rings or other things that are related to the wedding itself. You will find that paying for things like a reception hall and even the honeymoon could be significantly less if you schedule your wedding during off peak wedding season months. Every season could be considered the perfect wedding season because there are months in each of those seasons that many people want to schedule their wedding day on. Finding out when the off peak wedding season begins will give you tremendous bargaining power with wedding vendors because they will be seeking any business they can get. You will also be able to negotiate with your catering services, DJ services, and other performances that you may have to pay premium prices for when dealing with the peak wedding season. You will also find that it will be harder to schedule the exact date that you will want during peak wedding months because you will be battling with others who want to have their weddings during the same time. So why are there months that people want to have their weddings on and months that they don’t? For starters you have to deal with Mother Nature. While no one can predict the weather, it is more likely that during some months you can expect less problems with the weather and other elements than others. If you are planning an outdoor wedding this may be something that you will want to take into consideration. However if you are planning to have your wedding indoors then you shouldn’t take into account the elements of weather as this may not cause any mishaps on your wedding day and end up saving you a lot of money doing so. Now according to many experts the most popular months for weddings are May, June, July, August, September, and October. There is no surprise there because in general these months usually deliver splendid weather and most people have some time off during the summer seasons so if you have relatives and friends who live away from where the wedding will be taking place, they will be able to travel easier. The great thing, though, is that weddings can be celebrated during any time of the year so you can plan a wedding on off peak months and probably end up with more money in your pocket. It would also be of great benefit if you are planning a wedding on a tight budget, and with the economy the way it is everyone is planning everything on a budget these days. Doing some research will also help you determine when the best time of the year for you to have your wedding would be. For some the time of the year doesn’t matter, what matters is spending the rest of their life with the one they love. It does not hurt, however, to save some money. Doing a little homework before you begin to make real plans for your wedding could prove to be the best thing you could do for yourself. Talking to vendors who understand that pricing is important to you and saving money is a priority for your wedding could land you a spectacular wedding that you will remember for a life time. If you live in an area where the climate is more likely to remain stable during the cooler to colder months it would be ideal for you to schedule your wedding during an off peak month. One thing you will want to keep in mind is both the possibility of the elements playing a factor in your wedding and how your guest will be able to respond to those conditions. Always have a plan B in place just in case something out of the ordinary does occur. Also if you are going to be using a hotel or resort for your wedding reception keep in mind that while weddings may not be very popular during those times, you may be in competition with travelers and businesses so you may still have to be picky with your wedding date. You will find that by being able to schedule your wedding during off peak wedding months from November through April you will be able to save money with other local necessities as well. Things like local foods, local flowers that are in season during the month you have chosen, as well as other local needs could also be less expensive during the off peak months. If you feel as though you are being up charged because they are aware that it is for a wedding, simply refuse to pay more for those services. If a vendor feels that they will lose your business they will make their prices more reasonable or you should be prepared to go somewhere else with your business. As for the seasons, you will have something to cherish no matter when your wedding occurs. You can have a romantic winter wonderland wedding that has the perfect backdrop of the holidays and sparkly lights. You could have a Springtime wedding to help celebrate the new beginning of the season proves to be the perfect backdrop for the bride and groom. Or maybe you’d prefer a summer wedding. The warm summer breeze can be great for both outdoor and indoor weddings taking advantage of the warmth and backyard getaways. Don’t forget the beautiful fall season when the leaves begin to change in colours and the warmth of the nights give ways to a crisp cool evening. Always look for discounts and specials when possible. Perhaps you will find that certain local businesses may offer certain incentives if you reserve several months in advance. By staying with local vendors and searching for the best deals both in person and online you will find that just about every month of the year could be the perfect month for your wedding. With the money you save you might even be able to afford to get your bridesmaid something special like diamond earrings just to show them how much they meant to you during your wedding and how you know that they too made great sacrifices to make sure everything went as planned.
