Baking Soda Can Be Used to Maintain Clothing

Weak base properties of baking soda make it a good detergent. It can easily dissolve dirt and grease, and make clothing become soft. Baking soda is particularly suitable for a family of hard water, because it is not only better able to clean clothes, but also can prevent the scale caused by hard water.

To enhance the bleaching effect, you can add 1/2 cup baking soda and the usual amount of bleach to the water to clean the clothing. For perspiration, you can mix baking soda and into a paste to scrub, and place for one hour and then clean. For the removal, you can add 1/2 cup baking soda in the rinse process. To remove the smell of smoke in the clothing, you should soak the clothes in baking soda solution before cleaning. If you want to remove the musty of soft clothing, you can soak the clothes in a mixed solution of 4 tablespoons baking soda and about 1 liter of water. Then clean it and wring out the solution, last dry. In addition, to add baking soda in the wash and rinse water is able to prevent the nylon clothing from yellow. And it can make the yellow linen clothing restore the right colors. If you wash the white clothes and colored clothes mistakenly, which led to the white clothing stained, you can soak the white clothing in warm water by adding baking soda, salt and detergent, and then you can remove the stain.

To use a paste of baking soda and ammonia mixture can help you remove the stains left by alcohol in perfumes colorants. Be sure to wear rubber gloves, and use this mixture in a well ventilated place. As you see, baking soda is a good helper to wash clothes. Let baking soda help you keep clothes clean and fresh!
