Great features including A-GPS. Exclusive to T-Mobile. Mobile manufacturer Nokia have just announced a new addition to their constantly growing range of mobile phones - the ‘new’ 6650. I say ‘new’ because Nokia, for some strange reason seem to be recycling old handset numbers again, there was a Nokia 6650 back in 2003 which was quite frankly a horrible looking phone, but it was Nokia’s first attempt at making a 3G phone. Thankfully this Nokia 6650 is a nice looking flip phone – quite a rarity from Nokia who usually concentrate on standard or slide phones. It does, however, bear more than a passing resemblance to the Motorola range of flip phones, but we will forgive it for this! The Nokia 6650 does have great features and is sure to be quite a winner in the popularity stakes. It is a 3G mobile with HSDPA – so download speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps are achievable. It also has GPS with added Assisted GPS, and so should suit the drivers among you. You are also looking at a 2 megapixel camera with flash (it would have been nice if it had been at least 3 megapixel really), MP3 player, FM radio Bluetooth and microSD card slot. The Nokia 6650 is also rumoured to run off Symbian OS, S60 3rd edition UI. The Nokia 6650 is only going to be available on the T-Mobile network so fans on different networks may want to look at switching from their current provider to T-Mobile when the Nokia 6650 is released in June 2008.
