Here are a few ideas for some creative buffet table settings. Create themed party table decorations to create a festive space; use themes not only on your menu, but also for your buffet table decorations. For instance, you can do a Western grill theme and cover the buffet tables in red and white gingham and place serveware in inverted cowboy hats. You can use cowboy boots to make flatware holders. Make a banner with burlap and some brown acrylic paint to hang in front of the tables. For a tropical theme, use braided leaf pouches to present your flatware sets. Surround the cake with ceramic cake stands displaying green macaroons or fondant-covered petit fours. Drape the buffet tables in a fresh spring green and use a floral white lace for a delicate border. Use some string candy to tie bows around the flatware. Make use of interesting flatware sets like stainless steel flatware with wooden handles for a unique touch. Display your best flatware sets when putting together a buffet table for the holidays or a special occasion. Use a basic buffet parcel fold or if you wish to be creative, you can try elaborate napkin folds like the diamond silverware pouch or diamond cone fold. Insert flatware into each folded napkin and arrange in a colorful wheel of silverware-and-napkin packets with a bright bowl of condiment or a floral accessory in the center of the wheel.
