Among the great variety of the medical professions we should notice the one from the pharmacy field on the contrary with the nursing field. This kind of the specialization is of great demand nowadays and needs some special education. There are a great amount of the educational establishments that offer the pharmacy courses. There is the common base of the pharmacy educational course but nevertheless the methods and some additional programs differ from the school to the school. So the students should take into consideration the specifics of each to make a correct choice. One of the well-known educational programs that provides the students with the pharmacy knowledge and technician skills, necessary for the further career making, is called Creighton Distance Program. The peculiarity of this program lies in the following: the specialist should give courses pertinent to the process of good patient care. The pharmacists should perform such important functions, as to prevent the diseases, to provide with the patient outcomes/health of the patient and disease state management. To provide the students with the thorough knowledge of the subjects the educational program was divided into the semesters at the Creighton Distance Program school. The theoretical lectures are combined with the practical lessons. The laboratory classes are conducted during the summer months from approximately two up to four weeks. The other option for the students is to take these courses during the educational year. At Creighton Distance Program school the students have the opportunity to get the degree of the pharmacy doctor. The main condition of getting such a degree is the pharmacy experience up to two years and four years of post graduation. Another good pharmacy school is Midwestern pharmacy school. This is a very nice place to get the pharmacy education. For those students who are accepted to this educational establishment, they would need to be enrolled in the school for three years, and it would be a full time course. The completion of the classes is finalized by taking the PCAT test. This kind of test is necessary for all the students. After graduating, the students have the opportunity to be employed in various organizations, including hospitals, educational institutes, home health care, drugstores, pharmaceutical companies, laboratories, etc. Of course, people can find many other interesting options in the Pharmacy schools, other than the variants specified above. It is very important to make an investigation of those educational establishments to find the most appropriate one. Many pharmacy schools obligatorily need a review called PCAT. Those students who can`t take this kind of testing, should enter the other schools that don`t require passing of this test. The foreigners will have to take the TOEFL test to enter the educational establishment. Of course, these demands are not obligatory for all the schools as there are such educational establishments that don`t need the mentioned above tests. For instance, the following educational establishments don`t require the special resting: California Northstate, California San Diego, California San Francisco, Oregon State University, University of Southern California, Touro University, California and Washington State University. The other schools require passing one of the examinations or, at least, one of them. Students who are eager to enter such educational establishments should be ready to pass the PCAT or the TOEFL. To get ready for such tests the students should take some efforts to be prepared not only mentally, but physically as well. The general amount of the questions and points that need to be answered and covered can exceed the number of two hundred forty. The other task can be presented in the form of writing the short essays. So keep in mind that you need to keep your mind clear and your clothes comfortable. pharmacy schools
