Part one involves written examination carrying 600 marks. Candidates who qualify this written exam have to apply for and clear the personality test that follows. • Clearing the SCRA exam will lead you to a training session of four years as mechanical engineers. The candidates who perform well in this training session are further chosen for summer programs and interns in Indian Railways. • After completion of the programs, the candidates are provided best jobs in the Indian Railways. They are given exciting packages and this job contains high scope of improvement. Both the exams SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentice Exam) and IFS (Indian Forest Service Exam) conducted by UPSC are highly challenging.
