The U.S. golf world is all thrilled with the Ryder Cup triumph, and rightfully so — this is a fine win, and should serve as the launching pad for several careers. But there’s still one glaring elephant in the room — an elephant that goes by the nickname of FIGJAM. (No, I’m not going to translate. You’re on your own for that one.) Phil Mickelson recorded one win, two losses, and two ties on the weekend, including a couple of rousing come-from-behind performances alongside Anthony Kim on Friday. But it was Phil’s weekend play that raised some eyebrows. He and Kim lost in the morning foursome, and then Mickelson and Mahan — the U.S. team’s winningest player — split the Saturday four-ball competition. And he got utterly waxed by Justin Rose three-and-two, that score looking closer than it really was only because Mickelson made a last-ditch charge. Mickelson looked absolutely unbelievable this weekend — from both the positive and the negative perspective. And he did absolutely nothing to refute the growing perception that he’s the game’s most maddeningly inconsistent player. He was a fine cheerleader for the U.S. squad, but if we’re looking for cheerleaders, I’d much rather Azinger choose Hayden Panettiere for 2010. Mickelson’s got yet another chance to tear it up on a major stage later this weekend in Atlanta. If history is any indication, he’ll carpet-bomb the rough on Thursday and Friday, then play sterling ball over the weekend to put himself only ten strokes off the lead. cheap golf ware Golf Clubs Golf Review This article is from http://www.cheapgolfware.com/ Also, We recommend some good top golf clubs to you.
