The problem with most skincare preparations is that they are full of synthetic chemicals which have been ultra processed and which are not really compatible with our skin at all, unlike organic skin oils. These were never meant for our skin and are just not compatible. The companies love them because they give a silky smooth feeling, the products last for ages and they are so cheap. Given that the olive is highly prized for its oil, it is clear that it is full of vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids. Organic skin oils are great for strengthening the skin's own natural protective layer which is a mix of sebum and dead debris but plays an essential role in keeping the skin hydrated and also protecting it from damage by external elements. For example, jojobo oil is great for keeping the balance of sebum just right so that skin is neither too dry nor too oily. Grapeseed oil is another oil which has lots of linoleic acid and also contains a lot of natural Vitamin E. How can you find the best on the market? Many companies are not telling the whole truth in that they include some of the above oils in minuscule quantities, just so that they look good on the label. The only way is to make sure that the company has made it clear on its website that it is no longer using these safer ingredients. This is your only real guarantee that they are using the safest organic skin oils and not some mineral oil mix.
