Lately the profession of the veterinarian has become very popular and generally recognized as the one needed and important. Here we can speak about the veterinary specialists that work not only in the vet hospitals but also in a zoo, an animal hospital, or an animal clinic, or a shelter. Some of veterinary technicians conduct special explorations and investigations in the animals` shelters and zoos. And that`s very useful for the animals` care field and the general development of the science. That`s why all the veterinarians try to get the best education and degree in order to perform one`s job duties in the best way possible and to get a good salary. For that purpose the veterinary technicians have to pass special accreditation and to get the degree. There is great variety of the requirements in this sphere especially while getting the professional qualification. To get the qualification of the veterinary technician after completion degree programs the students should have many technical skills in their reserve, such as hematology, microbiology, radiology, procedures, serology, skin scrapings, urinalysis, venipuncture. The completion of the training is checked and underlined by the special examination and accreditation approved by special State Agencies that have the Licenses and qualification degrees. The shortest period of getting the associate degree contains two-year program but lots of veterinary technicians try to get at least four-year bachelor`s degree nowadays. The intention to become a good veterinary technician is completely proved by the volume of the salary a qualified and honored specialist can get. That is the main stimulus of getting better qualification and skills to perform one`s work excellently. At the beginning the veterinarian can get the salary of approximately 14-20 thousand dollars annually. But when speaking about experienced and wise veterinary technician professional his or her salary can reach up to 37 thousand dollars per a year. As any other job the profession of veterinarian has the options to improve one`s skills and to get higher qualification and together with this the opportunity to get higher salary. Actually there are numerous ways with which veterinary technicians can increase their wage. One of the most widely used is signing up for internships. New methods and new techniques have always been attractive to the modern world society. It opens the new possibilities and bigger chances to reach the higher result of job performance. The other main factor of this profession is the attitude to the work of the veterinary technician. It is his or her own way of acceptance the job and the patients and the curing methods. The professionals are highly respected in all the spheres of modern world and the veterinary field is not an exception. And if speaking about professionals we should note that it is very important for the specialist to keep in touch with the modern world of innovating technologies. Visiting the exhibitions and seminars, taking part in special projects and researches are of primary importance for the developing veterinary technician specialist. These are the main and the most common ways of getting the golden experience for the excellent performance of one`s job. As a result we should notice that becoming a good qualified veterinary technician is not an easy road to pass but it is worth going through it if you have taken the decision to come this way. You must keep in mind that the best specialists are not only very famous and honored but they also get a good salary and a huge experience and proud of one`s job. veterinary education
