Medical scrubs aren't what you usually wear when you go backpacking, especially across Europe. I did though and I turned out fine. Of course, I didn't use them for anywhere fancy. It was my sister's boyfriend who recommended them to me. A pair of scrubs is really lightweight and when you're travelling with a big rucksack full of your other essentials, this comes in handy. I liked to use them for sleeping or for hanging out at the hostel. It wasn't really that big of a deal. When I had nothing else but my scrubs to wear, I wore them and walked and walked and walked. They were so easy to move around in that I didn't really mind that I was going out with them. They're easy to wash and fairly inexpensive. These definitely came in handy when the only Laundromat I could find was the kitchen sink. Aside from that, there was an instance where I thought I had lost my pair of scrubs. The thought of losing them didn't really hurt as much as they were easy to replace. The one instance I decided to go jogging. My pair of scrubs came through for me again. I know use my scrubs when I'm at home with nothing to do. This Author is a huge fan of medical scrubs
