Nursing Information is easy to access to the internet. People interested in learning more about nursing can simply go to google and click search. However, for the purpose of providing some general information on nursing, I wanted to write this post. Nursing focuses on the care of patients suffering from an illness that requires proper medical care and attention. To treat the patient's illness, the doctor prescribes him the necessary medicines and treatments while a nurse oversees the patient's general well-being while at the hospital or center. At times, the nurse is there to administer the medicines. This is done based on the doctor's orders. It is a nurse's job to provide assistance to the on-call doctor to ensure a patient's speedy recovery. The book "Notes on Nursing" laid down the principles for modern nursing practices. This was also enforced by the practices of Florence Nightingale. Before this, nursing practices were usually done by nuns or the military. The foundation of modern nursing established a regulating system where nursing practices are governed by the law and entry to the profession is regulated. Given its diversity, nurses can choose to specialize in a given field. Nurses need not be limited to working a hospital. This Author is a huge fan of Nursing Information
