The battery is probably one of the most important parts of a mobile as far as recycling is concerned. When you recycle mobile your battery can easily repaired or recycled and reused in new devices. It is one of the most important parts of the mobile if we are talking about nature as it is the most dangerous one. A battery is able to contaminate huge amounts of water and make it toxic and impossible to use. There are many different batteries. One type is the Lithium-ion battery that is the easiest if you want to recycle mobile. The Lithium inside them can easily be taken out and modified so that it can be reused in a new battery. The older nickel metal hydride batteries are much more difficult when recycling but it is also not recommended to throw them away as they may even be more harmful to the nature. No matter whether you are used to recycling or not you should never throw away the batteries. Even if you have decided not to recycle mobile you should at least take out the battery and hand it in the nearest shop that offers this service. In this case this is the least every person can do. This would definitely not make a change for the economics of a country or for the precious materials on Earth but it would definitely prevent you from contaminating huge areas.
