Admissions for UG courses in all affiliated colleges of Calcutta University will start from 28 June after the declaration of the result of higher secondary examination. Merit list for admissions in all honour degree courses will be declared by colleges within 25 June and admissions will start from 28 June. Classes for first year will commence from third week of July. In colleges last date of admissions is 6 August. Students will change their subjects till 31 August. Last date for submissions of registration forms is 17 Sept without late fine and 28 Sept with late fine. Candidates who passed 10+2 exams on or after 2009 are eligible to take admissions, but they should have full marks in English not less than 100. University has put condition for candidates who want to take admissions and passes their higher secondary examination on or after 2009. While calculating the aggregate marks, one has to consider marks in the best four subjects. Environmental studies subjects will not be considered in the best four subjects unless it is taken as an elective subject. Last date of admission is 6 August, 2012 and last of submission of registration forms is 17 Sept, 2012 and after that late fine will be included.
