Here are five success tips to help recharge your writing: Embrace "You" - With writing as a business, writers take on so much within the business of writing that forgetting about some "you" time becomes the daily occurrence. You think if you take time for yourself you are being selfish when actually the opposite is true. By scheduling time for yourself even in the smallest of ways, such as a treating yourself to a cup of your favorite or cooking your favorite meal, you will feel revived. This gives your mind and body time for renewal, which then brings on new ideas for your writing and getting you to your goal of success that much quicker. Set Goals to Get Goals- Setting goals allows many writers to see the road to accomplishments for the year. First, set realistic and obtainable goals at different intervals throughout the year. One way to do this is begin with goals you know you will complete such as your monthly hair appointment or the yearly physical. Then you can move onto writing goals such as submitting one article each quarter to ezine articles on subject of book. By doing this, you set and establish goals and mix them in with bigger goals. Keep a Positive Attitude- Every day something in the world can turn your mood from good to bad; spilled coffee on your favorite blouse, a misunderstood conversation, and the list is endless. But you can combat the possible downturn in your mood is to remind yourself of all the blessings in your life, even the smallest ones. Take a few moments to repeat the blessings to yourself. When you start reciting the list of things to be grateful for, you most likely will be surprised of how truly blessed you are in your life. You will be amazed at how it will help regain your positive attitude. Connect to Last-When you meet new people, it is important to take the time to make connections that last. Look in your local neighborhood circular, on the internet (via meetups). Make the commitment to attend one or two networking groups in your area. Even just showing up can be the key to a new client, great collaboration or partnership. Go into networking with giving not selling. Be there to give tips, resources and advice to others and ask first how you might be able to help them in their business. This will display the other person you care about them which will build those lasting connections. Track your Time- Writers can get stuck in a daunting to do list with their business that you could easily lose track of time during a day. The end of the days seems to be upon you and you haven't been able to get much writing done. To eliminate this crazy cycle, trace those interruptions that suck away from time. This will give you a written account of how your time was spent during the day. As the new year approaches, now is great time for fresh ideas and positive energy for your writing. By taking time for yourself, setting realistic goals, keeping a positive attitude, connecting for lasting relationships and tracking your time, the road to recharge your writing for the new year. essay faq
