What is Vastushastra? Vastu is a result oriented and experience based science. It is a science of event manifest. It changes one’s cosmic path leading to success, stability and sense. It deals with natural forces and changes one’s relationship with them. It builds a beautiful bridge between the inner spaces and the outer spaces. It defines one’s path effortlessly and subtracts natural hindrance and blockage. It creates a positive relationship between microcosm i.e. individual and macrocosm i.e. outer world or universe. It is a science which is based on the theory of “Aham Brahma”. In science, we explain it the way that if you know the atom you know the universe or if you know the universe you know the atom. Vastu shastra being a super science and multidisciplinary is based on the knowledge of astronomy, astrology, yogashastra etc. The basic fundamental of vastu are the great five elements, sixteen directions, sun and moon streams, deities in vastu purush mandal, study of vibrations, waves of sound and light, permutation and combination of all these things. It is a very complex subject which can be totally explained on the principle and laws of physics. As explained in quantum physics “Physical events are simply the expression of non-physical events, which are the particular bits of energy and information coming out of the field of energy. It is easier to gauge physical events but almost impossible to track non-physical events with physical terms and is just like that you cannot jump over the shadow of your head with your own feet. No doubt that nature is the mystery but all keys to control its treasures are also hidden in human existence i.e. microcosm, again the same theory of “Aham Brahma”.
