Home Improvement,Fashion & Cosmetics,Family & Parenting
Another stain that is so tough to remove is ink. Removing ink from carpet needs repetitive procedures if you do not know how to do it properly. And worst will end up damaging your carpet. That is the reason why learning how to remove ink from carpet is essential.

Sometimes you would just sigh upon seeing your child writes on your carpet or throw some ink on it. If that happens don’t be angry right away, just talk to him not to do it again and be careful next time. Don’t worry because cleaning that tough ink on your carpet is so quick and easy by following the steps below.

Alcohol Method

One of the methods used to remove ink from carpet is by using alcohol. Just follow the following procedures on how to remove ink from carpet using alcohol.

Grab a rubbing alcohol. 90% Isopropyl alcohol is the most suitable alcohol, however you may also use 70% solution. Use your white towel to apply towards the ink stains. Just wet it with alcohol then bad it on the area. Never rub the area to avoid spreading the ink stains.

Vacuum the area. Once you are through dabbing, you have to vacuum the area to suck all the water and ink out of your carpet. Blot the area. Next after vacuuming is blotting. Get your clean towel and blot the area. This way you can get the remaining moisture and stains into the cloth. If there are still visible ink stains on your carpet, you have to repeat the procedure. Dry the carpet. Again, the most common way of drying your carpet, get some paper towels or cloth and cover it on the area. Put some weights like book or any heavy material. Leave it until it is totally dry before using.

Lubricant Method

Using lubricant to remove ink from carpet is the most advisable way or method of removing ink stains. Just follow the steps provided below.

What you need

Warm water Sponge WD-40 lubricant spray White Cloth

Get any lubricant spray. WD-40 is the most advisable. Spray the area with this lubricant and let it set in for a couple of minutes.

Get your sponge, dipped in soapy water, and wipe the stain down. Don’t rub just blot from outer to inner area.

This time rinse the carpet with your warm water.

Dry the area by blotting with dry clean cloth then putting stack of paper towels with weights over.

Tips and Warnings

Always remember not to rub the carpet to get rid of spreading the stain.
