Tanzania is an amazing country that has many large and ecologically significant wildlife parks and reserves, as well as archaeological and historical places. Picking the Top 5 things not seen, but I managed to (just!) narrow it down to the top 10! Gombe Stream National Park , Made famous by primatologist Jane Goodall, Gombe Stream National Park is a group of chimpanzees that she has spent her life studying and protecting. Goodall and her team have spent many years with the chimpanzees and the number of groups have been habituated to allow tourists to trek in the woods chance to spend time observing primates in their natural environment. This is truly an unforgettable experience and a real highlight of a trip to Tanzania. Lake Manyara National Park Although Lake Manyara National Park is one of the smallest of Tanzania, there is a lot to see here! Ornithologists will get great pleasure from the extraordinary variety of bird species that frequent the park, including large flocks of waterfowl, flamingos and storks. Incidentally, one of the main reasons many visits to try to get the rare tree climbing lions look - these amazing creatures are incredibly weak, but the lucky few that get to see them they are a wonderful sight! For those who are physically and looking for adventure is the ability to scale at the top - something not tried the faint hearted! For those who want to take things a little easier, walking and hiking trails throughout the park is a great alternative. Which to choose to see close to Mount Kilimanjaro is a must! Ngorongoro Crater and Conservation area Ngorongoro Crater is probably Tanzania's most famous landmark and is often considered to be missing one of the wonders of the world!
