After a time period when the blades do get dull then it will not work properly and you have to change the cutting blade of the rotary cutters. But you need not worry for this as to change the cutting blade is a very simple process. You can easily change out the blade and make your rotary cutter as sharp as new. It is essential that you must maintain accuracy in your measurements and finally it will result in proper cuts and also reduced waste in the fabric. Its function is as good as cut off saw. You must remember some of its important point: 1Open the package and try to use the new blade from the pack. Leave the blade in the package but have it close to hand. 2. Try to lay the rotary cutter on a flat surface or on a table, with the nut on the top side. It is essential that you should grasp the handle firmly and loosen the nut by turning it toward the left. When the nut is completely loosened, it will come off. Set it aside. 3. Try to lift up the cutter by the handle. The bolt which was attached to the nut will remain on the table, along with the blade. 4. Remove the blade very carefully from the bolt. Replace old blade with the new blade so that it will work properly. Put the old blade into the package that the new blade came in, for safe disposal. Try to follow each of the steps properly in order to get the good result from the cutting blade.
