There are two main types of Scrabble helpers: Scrabble Cheat Boards and Scrabble word finders. Scrabble cheat boards are those online tools in which you will need to first recreate how your game’s board currently looks on the board provided before inputting the letters you have on your rack and asking for the best word to play. Scrabble word finders, on the other hand, are quicker and more efficient tools as it only requires you to input the letters on your rack. This type is also easier to use and requires less effort on the player. How does one use a Scrabble word finder? To give you a clearer picture, these online tools will need certain data to be entered into their system. There are generally two boxes to be filled in. The first is typically the box wherein you will need to input the current tiles you have on your rack. The second box is where you will need to place the “search pattern”, the pattern out of which you want to form your word. For example, you have the letters TNSRAOE and the pattern that you want to build a word out of is - - n – t - -. All you need to do is input the tiles on your rack and the pattern in the corresponding boxes. Once you click “submit” or something similar, you’ll find all the words that you can form. For this example, you’ll get SENATOR worth 57 points! Of course, there will be some slight differences between these online tools but they won’t matter much as the concept used in all of these tools is the same.
