Is there a good chance of profit in article writing? The answer to that depends on how you go about writing articles. It is also subjective as to what you see as a profit. Minimum wage jobs pay you a certain amount per hour that you are at work no matter what you are doing. Writing articles doesn't necessarily provide that kind of profit. There are some articles that you can churn out in 15-20 minutes, and make a few dollars on. Then there are some that you may research for several hours, then spend a few hours writing and make a few dollars as well. In reality what you are putting into the article will help you figure out what your profit is in writing the article. Not only do you need to have a computer, power, internet, etc. You also have to have research skills, writing talent and a basic understanding of how articles can make money for you. You can sit down and figure out how much money you need to make each hour that you work and set up a work schedule that allows you to do that. Some article writers are working from sunrise to sunset and often late into the night to make a profit from their work. They get paid flat rate upfront amounts for some articles, some articles earn residual payments from page views or ad revenue, and some articles are used just to market the writer and don't actually earn anything, but can attract new clients. If there was no profit in writing articles there wouldn't be so many people doing it, and making a living at it. But writing articles is essentially being self employed and you have to dedicate time and effort into making it a profitable career. Sometimes writing articles can pay more than you would make at a minimum wage job for an hour. Other times you may have several hours that you earn nothing. It is a challenge every day to make a profit as an article writer, but with the proper understanding of the process and making wise decisions as to what articles you will write you can improve the chances of making a very profitable living as an article writer. Beginning article writers often get stars in their eyes when they meet another writer who is making a living as an article writer, what they don't understand is that the success and profit of writing articles doesn't happen overnight. Professional article writers have put in the time and effort; they've written for pennies and have built their reputation and their library of articles to get to the point of making a profit on their articles. music essays
