The difference result from the higher quality material they use to make the frame, the fork even the wheels. Now you may find a deal where you can buy a 1000 dollar bike for $500 but for the most part, when it come to quality you get what you pay for. So to get a bike that you really feel comfortable riding you need a bike that fits you well and is set up to your body type and riding style. And the best way, really the only way to do this is to take different bikes for a test ride. This is the only way to truly know the size you need, if you feel comfortable on it, how it handles and how easily the different parts function. So what you really need to know is to make sure you have great experiences while riding, you really need to choose a top quality bicycle.
