I have been operating in the SEO business for virtually 5 years now. To some I feel merely a younger dog, but I should state the results we from the SEO promotions speak for themselves.

When you work in this field of SEO you tend to network with alternative SEO experts and remain tuned with all the newest SEO surf or upgrades from Google. We furthermore connect with alternative SEO experts in the forums and blogs.

I wish To express my nervous about the amount of complexity added to the topic of SEO. About 80% of information on SEO out there is too deep and complex, with an awful great deal of opinions.

Like any development or methodology, individuals are shopping for usability. They need anything that functions, creates an effect or makes a difference. This same concept applies to SEO.

Using a development needs following the basics of that development. If you sift by the thousands of accessible "sources" you are able to usually find the real source, and this isthe info and method you should employ when exercising how to go about it. I find it amazing how some SEO experts throw their opinions on their high-powered blogs, and then confuse another 1000 SEO experts.

  • The following week "green carrots" is a blog on page 1! It's fantastic, it worked plus the customer is all happy.

  • After sitting back comfortable and lookin at his results, he suddenly realizes that he never optimised the content of his page with enough keywords. Oops. He merely said "green carrots" when but still got a page 1 happen. This strikes him as strange and it appears to break everything he discovered about page optimization in SEO.

What happens next is interesting. The SEO professional chooses this is useful information and undertaking. He just seen the following fresh search guideline in play, that should be revealed with anyone doing SEO:

"Google is no longer providing any value to keyword density. This plays no part in SEO."

He writes a good 1000 word article about it and due to his undertaking, is extremely sure his findings. He actually makes a jab at Google about no mentioning it to anyone. Then he has kudos for locating this out before anyone else.

This is extremely irritating for anyone which would like to educate yourself on the topic of SEO or even aged college SEO experts.And is basically because of this short-sightedness that the world wide web is filled with countless pages about SEO that would be better located in the garbage.

Now do not get me incorrect, I feel not speaking about the numerous quite useful articles, digests and tutorials out there that may greatly support an SEO professional to receive his job completed faster. I feel speaking about those people which create their own interpretations of what is a very precise and logical development - SEO.

Adding bafflement to the subject

I have a true illustration of this. Last week I read and article from a "leading SEO source", Seomoz. In their article The Basics of Search Engine Friendly Design and Development, they state loud and bold that:

"Keyword density is, without question, NOT a part of modern internet search motor ranking algorithms for the easy reason it delivers far worse results than countless other, more advanced methods of keyword analysis."

Quite a statement! Who's a source? They referenced Dr. Edel Garcia's seminal work found on the topic - The Keyword Density of Non-Sense. If you go by this source's article, Dr. Edel Garcia attempts to break down the mathematical formula of keyword density improving search results and in the finishes supposedly proves it can not be real.

The final statement in Seomoz's comment on keyword density is entertaining.

"Dr. Garcia's background in information retrieval and his mathematical proofs must debunk any idea that keyword density may be used to enable "optimize" a page for greater positioning. However, this same document illustrates the regrettable truth about keyword optimization - without access to a international determine of sites (to estimate term weight) as well as a representative corpus of the Internet's accumulated documents (to aid create a semantic library), we have little chance to create formulations that would be helpful for real optimization."

What does this all mean? In overview, Seomoz told its thousands of fans that "Keyword density has NO PART in SEO". Then they state by the end that they do not have access to enough search results (Google's database) to completely validate it. Huh? Why mention it then?

How to simplify SEO

On the other side of this background, there are numerous intelligent SEO experts which work within the source of SEO itself and never deviate. These are a few of the best SEO businesses and SEO experts in the world.

Let's take a search will we?

Who chooses what ranks fine?

The interesting thing that I found when speaking with alternative SEO experts is the fact that they like to follow alternative experts for their portfolios, attractive articles and other appeal aspects.

But, if you want to get involved with the nitty-gritty of everything, you best choice is to go back to source.
