- A 16-year-old boy was charged April 28 with third-degree assaultafter he got in a fight with another juvenile after they got offtheir school bus, police said. The injured juvenile contacted Greenwich police and was treated by Greenwich Emergency Medical Service at the scene of the April 26 incident, which occurred on HamiltonAvenue. Police arrested the boy by warrant, and he was ordered by Stamford Superior Court , Juvenile Matters, to be transported to the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center . He was scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Stamford May1.
- Hector Bustos, 43, of 51 Williams St., Stamford, was chargedSaturday with misuse of plates, operating without a license andoperation of an unregistered motor vehicle. Police saw a black Honda traveling east on East Putnam Avenue nearIndian Field Road Saturday morning and saw that the car didn't havea rear license plate, police said. After stopping the car, police found that the driver, identified asBustos, could not produce a driver's license or any form ofidentification, police said. The license plates, which were in thewindshield and rear window, did not belong to the vehicle, policesaid. Police determined Stamford police held an active warrant forBustos.
He was released on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appearin state Superior Court in Stamford May 21. Stamford police took custody of Bustos at Greenwich Police Headquarters . - Thomas V. Goethe , 31, of 80 Pequot Drive, Stamford, allegedly contacted his formergirlfriend in a text message despite a restraining order that henot have contact with her, police said.
Goethe was charged Thursdaywith second-degree harassment, disorderly conduct and criminalviolation of a restraining order. He was picked up Thursday atNorwalk Police Headquarters, where he was being held on unrelatedcharges. Goethe was held in custody in lieu of $2,000 bond. He was scheduledto appear in state Superior Court in Stamford on May 7. - Vincent Riverso , 37, of 58 Byram Terrace Drive, was charged Thursday withdisorderly conduct after he allegedly pushed a woman into a walland grabbed her by the hair in an attempt to force her out of aresidence.
