We are headed toward catastrophe if wecontinue with our current spending binge, but towards prosperity ifwe change course and make use of technology and entrepreneurialresources, unfettered by centralized regulation.
Tom Licata launched Vermonter s for Economic Health in a seriesof Town Meeting Forums throughout Vermont in 2007; warningMontpelier and citizens of the economic hardships that befell ourstate and nation one year later. Today, Tom warns of twomutually exclusive, vaguely understood fundamentalchoices; choices underling two very different principles;principles underling two very different governments; governments underling two very different ways of life. One choice is ofrestoration; the other of transformation. One choice is ofnatural rights; the other of legal rights.
Understandingthese choices is to understand the tinderbox that is today sAmerica. Tom holds an MBA fromthe College of William & Mary. Robert Maynard was born and raised in Vermont and now lives inWilliston, VT, with his wife Yukiko and son Sean.
