Knowing what your target audience is, is the golden rule of copywriting. It will be impossible to sell something when you don't know anything about it. So using the right words to persuade your audience to buy, will help you achieve this sale. By choosing the wrong words, can have the opposite effect and drive them away. To sell a product effectively, use the words that will address the needs and wants of your customers and getting them to think they can't live without it. Using the right words will also strengthen the quality of what the reader is reading and get them to continue reading. Using the wrong words or phrases can often stress people out, and not make them buy and send them away. Playing with words, can sometimes entice a prospective buyer to read on. By not doing this you won't make any sales. Using powerful words to replace text that may be losing momentum for the reader, can be words like, "bonus." Using this word instead of boring text, to try to sell something, will let the reader believe that they are getting a bonus if they get this product immediately instead of later. This can be eye catching for the reader and will make them continue reading, to see what bonus they will get. Words like "limited time," get the readers to think that, if they don't get this product right now, they will miss out. This makes the reader come back, as it can play on their mind and it gets them to act quickly to have that product, so they will buy it because of it. "Special," is another word that entices people to stay, as everyone likes a sale, especially if they think they are one of the few who will get it. "Buy now," makes people wake up to what they are reading and triggers them to act and buy that product now. These words get people into action and get them to buy. Words that I have suggested are triggers for people, because they are used to hearing them, when there is a good deal. These words tend to be used a lot in copy and advertising because they work, and get people to buy. Using words that trigger people to act is also knowing what your target audience is, for example, if you are targeting people who want more money, having catchy headlines like "do you want more money," will get the person to read your article in a bid to get the information they need. Having a variety of words also is a key likewise with choosing the right words. However using the same words over again will have a less of a impact on the person who is reading the article. As it can make it sound repetitive. dissertation help
