The past, present, and future tarot spread is often done when a psychic has been booked to work at a convention in order to give a quick demonstration of their talents and abilities. In these situations the psychic does not have long periods of time to delve deeply into the life of the individual they are providing the reading for so they do a three card tarot spread that is indicative of the past, present and future for that individual. The past, present, and future tarot spread is done because it is a relatively quick spread to do but, it is not as detailed or in depth as the readings that can be had when the medium has time to do a full spread. The past, present, and future tarot spread is accurate only for a few months prior to the date of the reading, and for a few months after the date of the reading, where more detailed spreads can tell you what to expect many years in the future, and things that happened to you in a past life. Generally most mediums report that these three card readings will expose a possible time limit of up to three months. The past, present, and future tarot spread is frequently used when a person has never been to see a psychic and wants to learn about the process of card readings. These are quick card readings that will let you know if your medium is accurate with their abilities and predictions, and they give you a chance to see what all of the readings entail. These readings are definitely cheaper to have done because they take less time so the psychic does not charge you as much as if they had spent an hour or more with you. When you see a psychic for one of these three card readings you can however ask them to turn up an additional three cards to help clarify what the first three are saying. This is especially true if you would like to know what is going to be happening in the next twenty four hours and what you should prepare for. Do not base your sole judgment on whether or not you like a psychic by a three card spread, but, you can use these spreads to see if you want to continue to seek the guidance of the individual. It will allow you to see how the process works, and see if your personality clashes or meshes with the personality of the medium.
