I recently purchased a Dodge Ram to fix up. I have been working on cars since I was in grade school and have considered myself to be a strict Mopar guy since middle school. My first Dodge was a 1974 Dart. I spent fifty dollars on it, which seemed like a great deal until I spent almost every penny of a year’s allowance on bondo and engine parts. It was all worth it, however, when I had my own car to drive around - especially when I witnessed all of my friends still walking or begging their parents to use the family car. I've fixed up dozens of Dodge vehicles in the years since then and remain a Dodge aficionado to this day. This current project promises to be as fun and as satisfying as my others, if not more so. Since this “new” Ram is pretty old, I've decided to focus on after-market products and turning out a really sleek, modern looking truck. Just for the sake of education, Projector Headlights originated in the early eighties in the Audi. They have been the industry standard for headlamps in luxury cars ever since, as they provide excellent visibility for the driver and a very modern look. That era, to some extent, marked the rebirth of the American automotive industry, and those cars still show well today even among newer vehicles. When this truck is finished, I hope it looks like something out of a video game. It's almost embarrassing to admit this, but my next project vehicle might be designed around the great car lighting and accessories over which I have been drooling!
