Outcome will be identification of drilling targets for coredrilling program late this summer. Arrowstar Resources Ltd report on the Company proposed explorationprogram for the Port Snettisham, Alaska property and to reportfurther details of the program. The field-work will be begin assoon as the snow melts on the property expected in late May orearly June. The Arrowstar exploration team has planned a program of measuringthe magnetic susceptibility of surface and trenched samples andwith some geochemistry analysis to correlate the Fe magnetic andtotal values with the magnetic susceptibility values. Thepetrographic data is very basic and will also be enhanced throughanalysis and thin section work.
The Company also plans a ground based IP and Gravity anomaly surveyonce this initial work is completed. After this work is completedArrowstar expects to have sufficient data for a diamond drillprogram to determine an inferred or indicated 43-101 resourceestimate. This project is a titaniferous magnetite deposit on the SnettishamPeninsula. Ore has been subjected to several programs ofbeneficiation test work and reports indicate that the ore isamenable to magnetic separation.
It is possible to produce an ironore concentrate containing in excess of 60% Fe with good ironrecoveries. The concentrate can then be smelted to produce pig ironand a slag containing high TiO2 values. On average, the Snettishamdeposit is believed to contain: 18% - 20% magnetite, 2% - 6%titanium, c. 0.05% vanadium and c.
0.0114% platinum. The first major effort to explore the iron potential of the depositwas in the 1950's by the US Department of the Interior, Bureau ofMines, who drilled 11 holes, conducted a geophysical survey overthe body, and had beneficiation tests done on the ore. Themagnetite-bearing pyroxenite intrusive occupies a land area ofapproximately 390 acres along the northeast shore of the SnettishamPeninsula. The work outlined a magnetite rich area of pyroxeniteabout 2,400 feet by 9,600 feet in area with a vertical extent of1,500 feet at an average SG of 5.1 representing an estimatedhistorical resource deposit of 4 billion metric tonnes.
Altitudesranged from sea level to 1000 feet. The pyroxenite extends North Westward under the waters ofSnettisham Inlet for an unknown distance. A section of 1900 feet ofthe deposit was explored to a depth of 1000 feet, totalling 6,546linear feet of drill holes. The work done by the Bureau of Minesindicated a favourably situated, potentially-large depositcontaining titaniferous magnetite that can be recovered as ahigh-grade magnetite, using standard, comparatively low-costmethods of beneficiation.
A qualified person has not donesufficient work to classify the historical estimate as currentmineral resources, and the Company is not treating the historicalestimate as current mineral resources. In 1969, Marcona Corporation optioned the iron deposit and carriedout extensive exploration including diamond drilling andmetallurgical tests. It was reported in 1969, that MarconaCorporation and the Marubeni Company of Japan, had developed plansto pelletize two to four million tons of iron ore annually. By1970, Marcona completed a feasibility study on the deposit andannounced plans to put the deposit into production at a rate of 5million tons of concentrate per year over a 50 year mine life.However, iron ore prices declined and the project did not proceed. 1.
Port Snettisham, Alaska - Exploration Program The Snettisham Iron Ore Deposit is located on the SnettishamPeninsula on the south side of Port Snettisham and west of GilbertBay, about 30 miles southeast of Juneau, Alaska. The latestexploration work was done in 1970, using less sophisticatedequipment than is currently available now. No gravity survey workwas done, but some magnetic surveys, sampling and beneficiationtest work has been done. Access to the tenement is by boat, float plane or helicopter fromJuneau.

Reconnaissance of the historical data and grid soil and rockchip sampling with an XRF gun and magnetic susceptibility meter.This will allow us to correlate Fe Total and Fe mag values withmagnetic susceptibility. II. An outcrop and trenching sampling study using a magnometer tocorrelate Fe with magnetic susceptibility. Mineralogy and petrologystudies will also be conducted to analyze the presence of thetitanium and vanadium mineralization in the magnetite and theextent of silica, sulphur, phosphorous and alkalis.
3. A ground based IP magnetic and gravity study to identify keychanges in mineralogy and the extent of mineralization. No gravitysurveys have been completed to date and this will be completedprior to a drilling phase. 3.
Late Summer, 2012 1. In phase two, a diamond drilling program directed by the resultsof the above studies that will allow suitable targets to beidentified so that a Resource Estimate can be produced followed bya Feasibility Study. 2. A benefication study using samples to ensure the results arestatistically significant and the proposed beneficiation processdesign is proven at pilot plant size. This stage is particularlyimportant to the success of the project given the high cost ofcrushing to 100 mesh.
The field season in the Snettisham region extends from Aprilthrough to September. While it is possible to drill during thewinter, it becomes very inefficient when drilling shorter holes. Atwo phase, exploration program is proposed to complete the drillingnecessary to confirm a CIM and NI 43-101 compliant inferred mineralresource in the Snettisham area.
