It’s nearly summer vacation time again. Are you wondering, which destination you can visit this year? Then you are in luck, there are several exotic and fun destinations without shelling out too much money. The fickle nature of the economy makes the most sought out destination of last year to be passed up for a whole new array of destinations that would be very well within your budget. All you need to do is go through as many vacation spots as possible to find the right fit. A few budget friendly options have been listed out below. Reno This summer vacation (or Bestil sommerferie as we Danes call them) spot is sure to be fun. In case you are not enamored by the charm of this casino district, then think again. Apart from gambling and trying to get on the better side of lady luck, there are several other options that this region has to offer. There are several museums that you can visit while you are here that include the Nevada Museum of Art and the National Automobile Museum. In case you love the outdoors and can’t get enough of it, you can head to the ski slopes near Lake Tahoe. Lisbon Another perfect summer vacation spot is Lisbon. The city is known for its colonial history, traditional Foda music and Manueline architecture. You could visit hilltop villas, pleasant weather, friendly people and more importantly get a feel of the true café experience. Apart from that, you have ample opportunities for shopping and enjoy the city experience by taking a ride on the public transportation system. You should visit the Belem, which is a beautiful waterfront neighborhood, which is spectacular. This would be an ideal place for a quiet and relaxing vacation. Trinidad and Tabago This is the ideal summer vacation spot if you are a keen nature lover or bird watcher. However, you would also be able to enjoy beach activities while you are here. You could also opt to take a ferry ride to Tabago. The untouched beauty of the far ends of this island is not just magnificent, it can be thought to be as heaven on earth. In addition, you could also pay a visit to Pigeon Point or Store bay. A quick visit to the Asa Wright Nature Centre would serve to be a pleasurable experience. Yellow Stone Park If you want to plan a summer vacation that kids would love you must consider visiting the Yellow Stone Park. The home of the cartoon character Yogi the bear, is the perfect place where kids would have enough place to play in the warm weather. Camping out here and sitting by the side of bonfires could be a wonderful experience. In addition, you could go for treks across the thick forest and experience the great outdoors. If you’re lucky enough you’d be able to see grizzlies, elk and buffaloes. These are just some of the summer vacation spots that you would be sure to enjoy.
