Once you have decided to choose freelance writing career as your main source of making money, you have to make a plan based on your search study and writing level. Be realistic, check every aspect critically, research online, read most popular books from the library and get information from family and friends. After you have received all the information, you have to critically analyze the details to fit in your plans. Decide the number of hours that you can spend every day working and the amount of money you can spend. Once you have a written plan, write your goals for each step. How long will it take. Determine a specific date and time and be ready to get started. Make sure to treat your freelance writing job as a self employed business, where you have planned to write and make money but it is not sure how much will you make when you start writing as a freelance writer. It is not that there are less jobs in this field, there are numberless jobs in this field, but understanding the market, making it work for you, creating your credibility all takes some time. Customers need proof of your ability to write and give you bigger guaranteed orders. People who have time and money will love to learn this business skill that will give them a high end income and A good position in the social circles. 4. Keep a detailed record of expenses and income: Check your profits every month, keep track of all the receipts and invoices and payments. In proper folders in an order so it can be easily reviewed when needed. It will give you a current economic picture of your business at all times. 5. Check your business success with the number of jobs and payments: Within a year you will be able to create a picture of freelance writing opportunities and you will know to work in different situations and you income will increase double and triple.
