Once a big company wanted to employ a high-paying car driver. Through layers of screening and examination, only three of the most technologically superior competitors are left. The examiner asked them, “If there is a gold besides the cliff, and you must drive the car to pick it, then how far will you get close to the cliff so as not to fall down?” The first one answered, “Two meters.” The second one said with confidence, “half a meter.” The third one said, “I will try to escape from the cliff as far as possible.” Finally, the third one was admitted by this company. This short story told us not to match with temptation like gold, instead, we should be away from it as far as possible. Now I would like to tell you another story. Everyday, when the sun rises, animals on the African Savannah will start running. The mother of lions will educate its own children, “My dear children, you should run as fast as possible. If you can’t run faster than slowest antelope, you will starve to death. ”On the other field, the mother of antelopes instructed his children, “You should run faster and faster. If can’t run faster than the fastest lion, you will be eaten by them.” In fact, every day, all of us try to make progress and improve our ability, so we mustn’t be arrogant. Instead, we should make clear both of our advantages and disadvantages, and then keep modest to learn from others. If we are complimenting with us all the time and unwilling to absorb high technology and valuable knowledge, we will fall behind soon. As Deng Xiaoping, the great Chinese leader said, “development is the only way.” And if you’re not constantly improving your learning power, you’re falling farther behind and your earning power maybe be falling even faster. As the Chinese proverb goes, learning is like rowing upstream, not to advance is to drop back. Hence, we should live and learn. Besides, we should take life as a wonderful journey, which is the destination of gaining happiness. Instead of wasting time every day, we should try our best to make full use of every minute to enrich ourselves and create more values for society. Finally, do you want to know more about stones? If you do, you can communicate with us and we are ready to provide useful information about stones for you on stonebtb.
