UF-B wires: These wires are constructed as multiple conductor wires and contain 2 or 3 conductors. They come with or without a ground wire. The copper conductors used are either soft, solid or stranded although the phase conductors are jacketed with Nylon PVC. They are color coded according to the standard regulations for ease of identification. 4. SER-Round Cable: These special cables are used to transmit electricity from the service drop of the meter to the distribution panel. It can be used only for the applications where the SE is allowed. The range of temperature is anything between 90 degrees Celsius while the maximum voltage limit is 600 volts. 5. Bare or Tinned Copper Wires: These are solid copper wires that are not insulated. One has two choices, either the bare copper or the tinned copper. These wires provide the following advantages: a. They are extremely durable even at very high temperatures. b. They offer total resistance to oxidation. c. They are easy to weld.
