If our life is like the sea, then our desires are like rolling tides. It is natural that we couldn’t live in the world without desires, which just like the sea couldn’t exist without tides, other wise, we won’t be interested in any passion and lack passion, investment and pursuits, then our life will be pale and blank like a blank picture. But the key point is that how people grasp their scale of desires. Sometimes the tides will rise, sometimes they will ebb, so we should be sensible not to let our desires run rampant. It is reasonable for human beings to run after wealth and money, and then what degree is used to judge whether you are rich enough or not? Because different people have different values, so there isn’t any stationary or unify standard. If you want to lead a calm life, you should master the horizontal and vertical lines of desires. The so-called “horizontal line” means that you might as well compare your wealth with other people, then you will find that some people are richer than you, but also some other people are poorer than you, and you have already been in a better position. Since life is sea and it is natural to see high tides and low tides, which is just like the degree of people’s wealth. The so-called “vertical line” means that because of your hard work, you can clearly find that your living standard is improving and becoming better, so you feel comport, rich and satisfied. Nevertheless, many people doesn’t do like this. They never turn around nor do they compare with themselves in the past, instead, they compare unrealistically with others. Therefore, their desires are rising all the time without ebbing. Besides, in order to make them rich and enjoyable, they treated life and others by whatever means so as to let the tides of desires to burst through the dam of reason, thus harming society, others and themselves. In fact, everything in the world has its own regular, which couldn’t be gone against like four seasons. The wise people keep natural attitude towards wealth and they could let the tides of desires rise and bow in order. On the contrary, the foolish people are wild about wealth and never be awaken in front of desires. Finally, do you want to know more about marble? If you do, you can visit our valuable stonebtb.
