Yesterday one of my good friends resigned, so I went to call at his room to comfort him. In my eyes, he is potential, hard-working and sincere, so he was very responsible for his job. But because many problems exist in his company that he couldn’t solve, so he gave up and left the company immediately. Nowadays he is choosing another job that is suitable for him. We were born in the same village and studied in the same class in the primary school. Since he was a child, he has been very good at acquiring knowledge, so he was very outstanding. Comparing with him, I was rather ordinary like an ugly duckling, but I was also very diligent to try to catch up with him. When we went to middle school, we were assigned in different classes, and from then on, we lost contacts. Three years later, we went to different high schools and never met each other. After three years, it just so happened that we entered the same university and majored in English. At first, when we talked with each other, we were embarrassed like strangers, but as time went on, we were familiar with each other and made good friends. As a considerate boy, he would try his best to help in the daily life. I still remembered that once I didn’t play volleyball well, and he would teach me patiently in the PE class to help me pass the exam. Besides, he would buy gifts for me on Christmas Day. In addition, he encouraged me to make great progress in learning. To be honest, although I was very good at English, I had a sense of terror towards exams. Hence, I was very nervous before taking TEM4 and TEM8, but he cheered on me in many ways. Thanks to his support, I passed them successfully. In my heart, every good friend plays an important role in my life, so I cherish all of them. I would rather make few but true friends instead of many but bad friends. In my opinion, the true friendship is that we could share happiness and sorrow with each other whenever and wherever.
