For many people, stress and anxieties are a norm of life. You can face many stressful situations at work, at home, and even at supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants. The worst thing about it is that sometimes you just can’t do anything about your anxiety attacks(we Danes refer to them as angstanfald). Even when you know you are well prepared for a test or for any other difficult situation, you still feel anxious. You are still afraid you won’t be able to make it. The first thing for you to realize here is that you are not alone. Millions of people are looking for ways to cope with their anxieties. And even though it can be very difficult to overcome anxieties and stressful situations, there are some effective solutions for such issues. It can be very hard to stop feeling anxious. And it can be even harder to never feel stressful. Hardships and worries are a part of our life, and it can take a lot of practice and knowledge to be able to face them calmly. However, you need to understand that you can stop your anxiety attack in a heartbeat. You just need to know how to do it. You can also learn how to never feel anxious again, but it will require a lot of practice from you. There can be a short-term and a long-term approach to any stressful situation. The main principle of a short-term approach is that any anxieties can be easily stopped, because they are not substantial. This approach is based on your passive attitude. A long-term approach is more complex, because it requires total acceptance from you. And the fact is that it can be close to impossible to accept that you can easily influence any stressful situation. When you already feel anxious, you may think that it is impossible to do anything about the situation. The truth is that you can. Even when you experience the most horrific feelings, there is always a way out. You can either fight with your feelings or you can try to run away from your anxiety. However, the best you can do is to make yourself believe that your anxieties do not exist at all. A passive attitude is the best response to any stressful situation. When you start analyzing your situation, you begin resolving it. You take the first step toward the resolution of your problems. You do not need to fight with your anxieties. You need to find their roots. And only when you know the roots of your problems, you can do something about them. The best thing you can do to stop your anxiety attack is to realize why exactly you feel anxious. In many cases, people feel anxious just because they have experienced similar feelings in the past. As an example, you may feel anxious about your date just because someone from your past has denied you. The best thing you can do in such situation is to realize that your new date is really interested in you, and hence there is no use of being anxious. That , of course, is very difficult, and some people might even need therapy to get there, but don't worry - there's always a solution.
