Before graduating from university, my families supported me and sent money to me monthly, but once I graduated from university, I had to support myself. Until now, I have stepped into society for almost one year and got a job as editors. To be honest, I have realized that life in society is quite different from that at school. When I was a student, I studied hard from Monday to Friday. Living in the school’s dormitory, I got along well with my roommates. At the time, we are very young, pure and beautiful flowers. I just remembered that sometimes the dorm matrons were every angry with us when we were very talkative at night, and they would order us to run in the rains. Nevertheless, we were still very happy and never get rid of chatting with each other. When our college life was about to end, we were very unwilling to part with each other, so I cherish every minute to get together. In the day, we walked through every corner of the school and took pictures. In the evening, we stayed in our dormitory, played bridge cards, watched movies and shared each other with our secrets. When we had a farewell dinner to mark the end of university days, we drank much, cried and hugged each other. At the moment, we realized we cherished these times that we went through together. It is no deny that the friendship and friends we have at the university are pure, sincere and kind. On the contrary, I find it is difficult to make good friends with colleagues. Because of different family backgrounds, education level and conflicts of interest, we are unwilling to share our happiness and sorrow with our colleagues. Last month, a female colleague quarreled with a male colleague in my company because of a fan. The female colleague caught a cold and didn’t want to open the fan, but the male colleague said it was too hot to have a good rest. Finally, the male colleague resigned and never turned up in my company. Well, it was just a small matter, but they didn’t know to tolerate each other. In my opinion, we should stand on the other’s position and try to understand them when doing things. Hence, I don’t like people who are selfish, arrogant and narrow-minded.
