Surfboard is an elongated wooden platform that is used for surfing. Such type of sport and sport equipment are often seen in and around beaches because surfing sport is played in the sea with the sea waves. It is really a fun sport played to freshen up the mind. Surfboards are light to carry around but are strong enough to withstand the weight of a person standing on them amidst strong sea waves. Surfboards are generally made of pure wood but now a day’s they are made of polystyrene foam with layers of cloth, fiber or resin covering the foam. Surfboards for sale are available in shops where sport goods or items are sold. There are some of them specialized in water sports. It is given the shape of fish that is wide at the front and pointed at the end. The middle part is wide. This helps it to float on water. It is easy to dive through the waves heading forward when you have a shape like this. In this type of sport, an individual needs to have good balance in the body, as it is very difficult to balance in the waves. A good professional training is required to try this sport because if the balance is lost then it may lead to the drowning of the individual leading to the death of the individual. A good swimmer should play this sport because we can clearly visualize that without being a swimmer no water sport can be played. Surfing sport is for those who love to have speed in their life. Usually, the boards float on the waves and heads forward into the sea and the individual balances on top of the board, speedily heading forward.
