Self-cultivation is a person’s moral character and his excellent quality in the process of getting along with people. It is not gorgeous like beautiful clothes and it is also not charming like appearance, but it is worth appreciating all the time. What is self-cultivation? With self-cultivation, you will keep silent and smiling when dealing with different people. Because of different genetic genes and postnatal environments, different people will have different personalities. If you find it is hard to chat with someone, your smile will show your unique generosity and serenity. Smile is the answer to different voices and is the tolerance to others’ faults. What is self-cultivation? With self-cultivation, you will not proud of yourself when you are successful and become decadent when you fail. As we know, our life is filled with challenges and opportunities. Maybe today we will gain our coveted things occasionally, but maybe tomorrow we will face adverse conditions because of some unavoidable reasons. In fact, no matter whether we succeed or fail, we should face everything calmly. There was no prediction or rehearsal in our life, so everyday is completely new and no one could foresee the future. Hence, whether we undergo strong winds or receive fresh flowers, we should understand they are only small parts of our life, because our life won’t become gorgeous all the time because of a bundle of flowers, and we won’t loss everything because of a storm. Therefore, we shouldn’t be easy to show our happiness and anger on our faces. When you realize it, you will get closer to self-cultivation. What is self-cultivation? With self-cultivation, you will keep calm and rational when coming cross emergencies; with self-cultivation, you will keep happy in your daily life and cherish every friend, family and partner very much; with self-cultivation, men will be strong like trees and deep like seas; with self-cultivation, women will be elegant, intellectual and dignified. In my opinion, self-cultivation is like a good book, and when you touch it, you will feel it is very wonderful. When you get along with people who are self-cultivated, you will feel human being’s beauty and realize the beauty of life. To be honest, I prefer to live on the world like an ordinary cobblestone, which has strong cultivation to keep silent when seeing evils.
