Do you often keep a watchful eye on golf entertainment news? If your answer is positive, then you must be interested in the superstar of golf. You can also see many threads about the next superstar of golf in your eyes? Which one would like to choose if you are asked who is the next superstar of golf among Lexi Thompson, Rory McIlroy, Webb Simpson and Yani Tseng. Anyway, I am inclined to cast a vote for Rory McIlroy. Earlier, I just regard golf as a great exercise to cultivate sentiment. To imagine the scene that friends on the golf course, one with a golf club in hands and swing his club chicly as he talk and joke with his friends. Each time someone mention golf, such scene would come to my mind. Now, the image is still alive, only the protagonist is changed from "friends" to Rory McIlroy. Rory McIlroy, the Northern Irish professional golfer attracts much more attention due to his two-time major champion. At the tender age of 23, he has become the youngest US Open winner in 90 years and is now the youngest US PGA winner in more than half a century. In earlier times, only Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods and Seve Ballesteros have won two big ones at such a young age, which adds credence to the view that McIlroy is an incredibly special talent. According to BBC news, Marc Warren will be on Sunday's BBC Radio Scotland's Golf Show. There comes a point in a golfer's career when "greatness" is defined. McIlroy has already reached that stage, when his feats have set him apart from the likes of Colin Montgomerie, Luke Donald, Lee Westwood, Justin Rose and others. All of these quoted European golfers are among the elite of the game, but they cannot be listed among the "greats". McIlroy, though, appears well on course to establishing that credential for himself. Graeme McDowell, who finished tied for 11th on two under par, called his fellow Northern Irishman a "superstar"—"He's going to be a superstar of the game. He already is, but a real superstar now." Padraig Harrington, who started the amazing run of Irish success with seven majors in the last six seasons, said: "He's only doing what he was destined to do." Of course, everyone has his own superstar in the heart. While I think it is likely to be a fact that Rory McIlroy would be the next superstar of golf overwhelming so many other excellent golfers.
