Tissue microarray (TMA) technology is an advanced research device, which provides quality outputs for the doctors, who help them solve problems quickly. This method can also bring good results in other processes at brisk pace. The other process where it’s put into use is to verify the results from cDNA arrays, acquiring minute details about the tumors and tissues. The popularity of this tool has been on a gradual rise, more so with the research students of oncology and pathology as it offers them with a strong environment and platform to for proteomic research. The Tissue microarrays technology was invented with the sole intention to precisely find the results of the cDNA. Now-a-days, it’s also used to researches associated with the invention of various medicines. The detailed information, every minute detail of the various newly found genes can be discovered by this tool and thus has earned enough distinction in the cancer researches. The tissues that are analyzed by this tool remains soaked in paraffin and is then applied with formalin. The slides are being coated with a specially made solution known as the hematoxylin-eosin solution as it gives the maximum chance of getting the desired results. This process is selected with only one goal and that is to avail a tissue in collection. The dimensions of the tissue should be noted beforehand as it depends on its depth and width to get the best results. But the paraffin-coated and formalin-mixed method of knowing the details about the tissue used to take a lot of time and costs huge. With the arrival of the Tissue microarray technology, finding the details about the genes within short time-period has become easy. The other potentialities of this tool are still being looked into. The tissues under this condition stay in workable condition for a long time. This machine is used to work on the tissues containing traits of rare diseases.
