In today in this world people are talking about what we can do with our old photos and scrap books and one great idea is to have them made in to canvas prints, this is something I will talk about in detail later on. We all have old photos lying around the house and scrap books full of memories and precious moments but that sadly is all they do is sit around the house and very rarely get taken out and looked at and enjoyed. Recently I was at a very sad occasion we had all of the family round and out came the photo albums I didn’t even know existed there were even photos of me that I had never seen before and we all sat around looking at old photos of us all it was the only part of the day that brought a smile to any of our faces and that was what made think it is so sad that memories like these are just put away in a draw or even in the attic far away out of sight and out of mind and some people just really don’t like their pictures and that is a real shame as I recently found there were literally hundreds of photos I hadn’t seen before of me and my family I was looking through a photo album and had a lot of pictures of me in it when I was very young and some of my parents. I later found out it was my sister who I am very close with that it was her album and when I asked her why I hadn’t seen any of these photos or even the album before she told me that she had put it away years ago and had forgot all about it until she had dug it out and I thought that was a real shame, as this is when I had my first canvas print made. I took most of the photos in the album and made them in to a collage and had it made in to canvas prints, it looked amazing like I said I will talk a bit more about canvas printing and canvas photos, the canvas print looked great hung on a wall and really meant a lot having all of those memories up on the wall for all to see some people don’t like that because they are worried about how they used to look or what they looked like when they were kids but I don’t get that the worst photos of me as a child were the normal ones of me sat still in clothes that don’t look like they are from fifty years ago, I love seeing how different I was and how stupid the clothes were and what we all used to look like back then and being proud of your memories because they are yours forever , another waste of photos these days are digital cameras I love digital cameras I think they are great you can check what your picture looks like straight away and if it’s not what you are looking for just delete and snap away but unfortunately there is a bad side to digital cameras we tend to just take photos and leave them on the camera until you go to use it again then when you get there you end up just going through old pictures and deleting the old ones to make room for the new and I think that is such a waste at least with old cameras you could take out the film until you can have them developed. So as I have said there is a great ways to rescue our old forgot about photos and even display our new ones and that is having canvas prints made up with your old photos and memories transformed into works of art by having them made in to a canvas photo you can be proud of. you can find many companies online who specialise in canvas printing they are very helpful and will talk you through the process and it can cost a lot less than you would think so don’t let our memories fade away in a draw, rescue them and make a canvas print you can be proud of for years to come.
