After graduating from university, she got a job as an editor in a Beijing book company. To her depression, her boss was very strict with employees, which made everyone pressured. Although she didn’t have experience, her boss also demanded her to collect manuscript, rewrite, revise and publicized the book. When she was editing the first book, she thought she had modified it well, so she handed it in to check and approve by director of the department, who thought there was nothing wrong. Unexpectedly, her boss got angry, came to her, threw the heavy book on her office book and said, “There were two awkward sentences inside it, so you must collect it and then give it to me.” She summoned all her courage and asked, “Boss, could you tell me which two sentences are? I will correct them at once.” “Which two sentences are? You should ask yourself. This is your job and you must find them by yourself. ”The boss stared at her and walked away angrily. Hence, she read this book of over 200 thousand words repeatedly again and again for one week, finally she found these two sentences, corrected them and gave the book to her boss. To his astonishment, her boss criticized her more severely, “I told you there were two awkward sentences, so you corrected it. But don’t you find that there are more than 20 wrongly written words?” Upon hearing that, she felt very innocent and said, “Even the big papers allow wrongly written words, why are you strict with us?” “But how many wrongly written words can you find in the truly published newspaper.” The boss said impatiently. In order not to criticize by her boss, not only did she download some familiar wrongly written words to memorize, but she made full use of the weekend to read professional magazine in the library. Gradually she made great progress and her ability of proofreading was very strong. Later on, a famous publishing company hired editors, and she secretly applied for it. When she went to the scene, she found the completion was very competitive and only two of several hundreds of excellent graduate students from famous universities would get to chance. At first, she wasn’t confident at all, but finally she was admitted by the publishing company successfully, which was just as the old saying goes, “Strict teacher produces outstanding students.” Finally, if you are interested in E-platform of stone industry, you can visit our stonebtb.
