It is no deny that people can conceal their wealth, occupation or even appearance by making up, but it is impossible for them to pretend to be elegant. Elegance is the outward expression of people’s cultural level and natural feeling of their inner cultivation. In our daily life, some people intend to be gentlemen with the advancement of their occupation or wealth but people still think they stimulate others or conceal themselves bombastically, which made people uncomfortable. The reason is simple, for they don’t truly understand the connotation of elegance. Elegance is the comprehensive quality of people, including cultural antecedents, sincerity, kindness and simplicity. An elegant person is well educated, who will have rich mastery. The renowned senior professor Roman of Harvard University stopped his car outside the gate and walked over 1000 meters to the pulpit of the auditorium hall when he was about to leave the school and made the final speech. When the speech was over, all the present students and teachers stood up, applauded to honor his coming and followed him with their eyes until he was out of sight. At that time, people experienced the elegance of a scholar. Many females think that they beautiful appearance is equal to elegance, which is a large confusion obviously. No matter how beautiful a female is, if she doesn’t have certain upbringing, her exterior beauty will be pale and she is only a beautiful vase. On the contrary, a female who isn’t beautiful can be elegant. Rice, the American 66th secretary of Slate, was the black woman who got the highest occupation in the history of American government. Everyone is able to be elegant in different ways. Statesmen and cultural men have their own elegance, so do ordinary people. As an ordinary girl, I am often spoken highly of my elegance by my friends, teachers and colleagues.
