Quality Electric Underfloor Heating Online. At 500mm wide the heat mats are constructed from a thin mesh, the electric floor heating mats have a 3mm thin heating cable pre attached and spaced beneath the mesh to help protect the cable during installation. The underfloor heating cable used in the heat mats is twin-conductor and 100% earth shielded.
The heat mats are supplied in outputs of 100W, 150W and 200W per square metre and come in a large range of length's allowing you to select the right underfloor heating system whatever the size and shape of you floor surface. In many circumstances heat mats do not add much if any build height to your tiled floor as they are so thin that they are contained within the tile adhesive layer.
Unlike heating ribbons and carbon panels, you can achieve 100% coverage of the free floor area as the mat can be cut and turned or the cable can be stripped off the mesh and loose laid to fill in any awkward spaces the mat won’t fit in.
200W/m2underfloor heating mats offer a quicker warm up time and are suitable for use beneath tile and stone coverings or rooms with high heat loss such as conservatories where they can provide primary heating when used with the appropriate insulation products.
100 & 150W/m2electric underfloor heating mats are more suitable to provide floor warming beneath the same floor coverings as the 200W system, and in addition they can be used beneath carpet, bonded wooden floors and vinyl when used with a levelling compound. In well insulated room 150W can provide primary heating.
All three electric underfloor heat mat systems are suitable for use with Tile backer Board which will enable them to run more efficiently, benefiting your running cost’s and the environment.
