A trainer should ask you about your current level of fitness, your experience, and whether you have any injuries or health conditions. Good trainers customize their program to each client, rather than applying a one-fits-all approach. Your training program should evolve with you as you develop strength and endurance. Your goals may change along the way and your trainer should be flexible and adaptive.
